People with diabetes have a much greater risk of developing problems with their feet. Chronic high blood sugars can cause reduced sensation and circulation leading to complications and even limb amputations.

So make sure you get a quality foot check from a qualified podiatrist at least once a year (approximately 30 minutes).

A pre-surgical assessment to ensure suitability for the nail surgery procedure.

Nail surgery is the removal of all of the toenail or part of the nail. 

A local anaesthetic is used so that you will feel no pain during the procedure. 

After the removal of the nail, a chemical may be applied to the exposed nail bed to prevent regrowth by destroying the nail cells.

This price includes a pre-op assessment, the surgery and 3 follow up dressing appointments after the surgery.
